Alright, so as you already know I want to become a video game tester to earn some extra cash during the summer. So I have done some research online to see if I could find some solid information on becoming a video game tester. I have found some sites including wikipedia that have helped me some what. One site that really opened up my eyes about video game testing was this video game tester site.
I have found lots of useful information on that site, but I wouldnt say that this site is the best resoruce for video game testing. I am sure there are better sites and blogs that offer more details. But for me at least it helped me out some what.
First off, I learnd that It is not easy to be a game tester as I origianlly thoguht. It looks like it will take some hard work to get into the video game industry. And I am not the hardest worker in the world by any means.
I guess I just got a little to excited about this whole video game testing thing because the scammers made me belive that I could easily make thousands of dollars playing video games. But they never tell you how hard it really is.
It seems as though I wouldnt earn much money doing this for just 1 summer. After all, I dont plan on testing video games for the rest of my life. Yes, I love video games, but I think that becoming a video game tester would take out the fun of playing and enjoying the game.

I have been a bit busy with studying, so I havent posted in a while. But dont worry all you WANNA BE VIDEO GAME TESTERS out there. Ohhh no! My little cousin came over today, and he hates video game. I guess becoming a video game tester is not in his future. This is the only Kid I know who doesn’t like VIDEO GAMES, yes that right! a litte boy who does not like video games. Don’t get me wrong, I love him to death, but I just don’t understand how he hates video games.

Okay, well remmeber yesterday I told you folks that my friend said, video game testers only earn $8, well he was wrong. I did some research online looking for how much a video game tester really makes? so, I looked at a few sources, and I discovered the following.
I found out that the pay may vary, depending on a few factors. The longer you do it the more you get paid. I found out that entry level game testers make like $20 an hour. and some who have been in the industry longer then that make around $60-$90 an hour.
Okay, now I really dont know how accurate those numbers are, but I realy hope that it is true. I don’t want to confuse anyone out there reading this. I found this numbers from a few websites I had searched on google.

Okay, so today one of my friends told me that video game tester make like $8 an hour. I was like WHAT? I was kind of dissapointed. I knew that you proably couldnt make $400 an hour like some scammer make, but $8 an hour, come on it can’t be true. Honestly, I really don’t beleive thing guy, so I will do some research today to see if I can find a true number to how much a video game tester makes.
